Civilian Killings Went Unpunished
I found the below article when reading about recent acts of monstrosity in Iraq.

As far as I’m concerned, there are certain acts make someone no longer human and this shit’s it. There’s war, then there’s doing it with gusto.
In cases like these, the punishment should fit the crime and they should suffer the exact fate they inflicted upon another - maybe then they would comprehend what they’ve done.

Of course, the flaw in this plan, is the one delivering the punishment would be a monster by the same logic. A mandated murderer, similar to those administering the death penalty, which I support but not whole-heartedly.
