Long Live Free Speech!

In Celebration of Naked Lady Mudflaps’ Victory over Idiots Trying to Outlaw Them

Can you believe that Ed Ableser from Tempe actually raised this as an amendment to be tacked onto an Arizona state bill regarding truck splash guard requirements? Another Democratic Rep, perhaps plagued by her own insecurities, Theresa Ulmer of Yuma supported this foolishness.

“I personally am tired of explaining to my 11-year-old son why they (women) are depicted on mudflaps , but not all women are 36Ds. He’s very confused by that,” Ulmer said.

Lady, you have more serious issues if you feel compelled to explain all of this due to your son witnessing a a flattering silhouette of the female form. For all we know, she’s clothed, albeit snugly and form-fitting. Secondly, do you live in the land of D-cups? How does your son NOT know that women come in all shapes and sizes? This should be visably apparent.

Celebrate Free Speech and pimp out your space by DOWNLOADING (not hotlinking) these 100×100 or 50×50 pixel Icons . Linkbacks/shoutouts are most appreciated. >;) Click on Gallery » Design to view the full-sized image, all done in Illustrator and edited in Photoshop CS2.

As always, you may keep up with my antics here.

Adult Swim

No, this is not in reference to the Mooninite hubbub. What I want to know is who these two are indulging in order to continue flinging their crap onto our TV screens?!

Tom Goes to the Mayor is the worst and I assume it’s on hiatus for a reason. Now we must face their hideous visages without the crappy Photoshop filter effects on their latest turd, premiering on Adult Swim next weekend?!

Sometimes it’s insulting, what execs think we will watch. 12oz Mouse, Squidbillies and other sucky shows littering the line-up, you are included in the mediocrity that sends me running to other channels, sitcom reruns even!

The Frankenjon Monster

Feed my Frankenstein

A higher resolution version is up in the gallery if you’d like to peep it. Green doesn’t translate well to RGB, at least not the warmer olive tones I used in the original, hence the limeyness of the final piece shown.

BEST COMMERCIAL EVER!

Giants are ravishing a city, only to be foiled by “DIARRHEA!” as an upbeat chorus cheerfully informs you while they perform a synchronized interpretive dance.

You’d think Pepto Max would make it available on their site, missed opportunity on their part - this commercial is HILARIOUS!!! >:D

Die Die My Darling - Chamber of Chills

Chamber of ChillsMisfits, Die Die my darling

Some of my all-time favorite imagery, once again derived from comic books, the most unappreciated often misappropriated lowbrow artform.

The infamous Misfits “Die Die My Darling” artwork is from an issue of an old Marvel comic, Chamber of Chills, sans cigarette. The artist in me hopes that the original artist was somehow compensated for usage, the realist in me doubts it.

I would love to get my hands on these comics, for the artwork alone. It looks like Marvel’s attempt to mimic EC Comics, originator of Tales from the Crypt, Haunt of Fear and Vault of Terror. If the stories are comparable, then I absolutely require these! *covets*

FREE Sirius Satellite Radio Online & Howard Stern

Go here to partake.

Free for today and tomorrow only!

Points that sold me:

I no longer listen to regular radio. We have 3 receivers and I listen online daily, so I believe in this and wholly support it. The only thing they’re really lacking is a good Industrial/Gothic station. Another source of contention is that they play Christian metal mixed in with the regular - not keen on that, as it is normally uninspired and formulaic.
