FREE Sirius Satellite Radio Online & Howard Stern

Go here to partake.

Free for today and tomorrow only!

Points that sold me:

I no longer listen to regular radio. We have 3 receivers and I listen online daily, so I believe in this and wholly support it. The only thing they’re really lacking is a good Industrial/Gothic station. Another source of contention is that they play Christian metal mixed in with the regular - not keen on that, as it is normally uninspired and formulaic.

Special Project

I have a special project I am about to begin. I am so excited about it, I just may explode! It’s not often you get to work with subjects that are personally intriguing and inspiring, so I will savor this. Stay tuned, but for now, it’s Applied Psychology exam city!

Also, of recent interest to me:

Rachael’s project: I LOVE MY CITY, which I plan to participate in, with a great deal of sarcasm when it comes to my city - in the land of pseudo-morality and plastic people. To be exhibited in Salford, England - Feb. 2007

Another thing I found, but have not had time to fully look into:
ArtFaceOff - A sweetly designed site with a nifty concept of registered artists pieces facing off against each other in the perception of those viewing and voting.

Update to prior post

Frisco school district requests to open teacher’s file - Source (Free registration required) - an update on a prior post.

They claim the teacher was not expelled for nude art seen by 5th grade students on a museum field trip, yet this whole ordeal was triggered by a single parent complaint, so the statements made are rather conflicting.

If she wasn’t fired over this museum trip, then they are effectively acknowledging that this may not have been suitable grounds for termination, since they are acting like students have always gone and will continue to go to the Dallas Museum of Art.

A limited number of accounts are available during this Beta Test. Comment or email me if you would like one, just indicate what username you would like.

Aside from email and chat, what I most frequently use my account for is uploading files that I need to be able to access from work or school, then saving them as a draft with a relevant subject line. Very convenient.

Let ‘em know you’re the girl of their dreams with a snazzy @NightmareGirls.net email address

New Icons - Creepy Fairy Tale Dolls

Available in 50 x 50 pixels and 100 x 100 pixels. Feel free to edit them and do whatever.

A link to my site from yours (site, blog, profile, whatever) would be an excellent way to share your enthusiasm, should you use them.

These are my favorites:

Do Dolls Dream of Stuffed Sheep?

The Burning Eyes of Snow White

Red Riding Hood - Cyclops Crop

These are the same dolls I used in a site layout several years back, involving copious DHTML and differing monochromatic color schemes for each page. I can’t find a screen capture of it.

Art Nouveau Devil Chicky

Replete w/goat eyes, here is a new entry in one of my most frequently recurring themes, devil chickies.

This is done in an Art Nouveau styling, with my twist, featuring organic lines and coiling tendrils.

Go here and click on “Curiosities” to peep this up-close and then some.
