“Americans are now among the shortest and fattest people in the industrialized world.” This article attributes it to shortcomings in our healthcare system, but it’s not the system that’s feeding these fat fucks. On the brighter side, according to the theory of assortative mating, fat people dig those of similar girth, so that fat fucks can get laid, married and so on. This leads to another point in this other article, about how fat begets fat - the double-dose of obesity genes are almost certain to dominate their offspring, thereby populating the world with fat ppl and the American epidemic of fat-asses. Additionally, an agenda of “body diversity” is out there, encouraging children to accept themselves as they are, so as not to engage in “looksism - the tendency to perceive social acceptability based upon how a person looks.”
Hate to break it to ‘em, but it’s inevitable. People do judge based on looks. Kids should be encouraged to want to do better, to continually improve themselves, rather than just accepting it as their lot in life. This group’s motto should be, “Fuck it,” with their unrealistic agenda of changing society instead of themselves. (Source)
